Hyperliquid has emerged as a dominant player in the perpetuals trading segment, surpassing established rivals like DYDX and Synthetix. On July 25, its perps volume exceeded $16 billion, marking a significant milestone for the decentralized exchange.

Despite its rapid growth since its 2023 launch, Hyperliquid remains outside the top 10 DEXes by overall trading volume. The platform's success in derivatives highlights its competitive edge in a crowded market, though spot trading volumes still lag behind industry leaders.
